"I create elaborate concoctions of unravelling flowers and

cascades of blossom selected from 1000's of photographs

I have taken over the years

I experiment with different techniques

whereby the flowers are transformed then photographed -

consequently there is an element of chance in my processes

​

Floral Closeups is a collection of single photographs 

whereas the Floral Worlds images are made up of parts from 

my flower photographs, digitally manipulated then laboriously added and reassembled to create mingled new arrangements

 

You will spot many types of flowers and plants in my artworks but I have a particular penchant for Roses as my Father grew many varieties in our garden. Like him, I love their dazzling colour combinations and the fragility of their unfolding delicate petals even when they are withering. To me they show nature in all its splendour, growth and decay
